Dominique Paul

With the sunset of August 24, 1994, Dominique Menion Paul began his life in Los Angeles, California. He was born to proud parents. His mother’s only child, yet the baby of the family, Dominique, held a special addition besides his older brothers.

Dominique accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and frequently attended the Church of the Harvest in Inglewood, CA, as well as the Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. He embraced his faith in Christ as his lord and Savior, with seeds planted from both his grandmothers’. Dominique would regularly attend church alone.

Dominique began his early education with private schools such as Marie Fagan, West Angeles Christian School, Saint Paul’s Catholic School, and Saint Eugene’s Catholic School. His special relationship with his auntie led him to Westchester High, where he met his eternal love in the 9th grade.

Dominique went on to complete his schooling at Long Beach City Adult School. He furthered his educational training as he became an active firefighter with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, all while becoming certified in fork lifting and construction.

Dominique had an infectious smile, and with his dazzling puppy dog eyes, he was a true charmer. He loved being in the company of his family and friends. Affectionately known as “Domo,” he was a jokester and loved laughing and making others laugh. He was a protector of everything he loved and everything he had.

Dominique enjoyed partying, listening to music, and hanging with his brothers, family, and friends. He was very active in all sports, playing football, basketball, and baseball, but his all-time favorite was boxing, where he trained at Sugar Shane Mosley’s Boxing Club.

Dominique will forever remain in our hearts until we meet again.
